Established back in March 2004 Sheffield Water Cutting have over three years experience in cutting materials ranging from wood, ceramics, mils steel, stainless steel, aluminium, harden steels, titanium and inconel, all up to a maximum thickness of 200mm thick.

The main advantage of waterjet cutting over other forms of profile cutting is the lack of heat that the cutting process applies to the material that’s being cut.  This means that you get very little distortion in the pieces cut and the material does not work harden during cutting (which is especially useful if you plan to machine the material after cutting).

Waterjet cutting is also capable of cutting thick materials to tighter tolerances than traditional plasma cutting.
